Fox and Wolf Plush PDF Sewing Pattern

It could also be used as nursery or bedroom decor for any woodland animal or vintage themed room. The cloth animal doll you make, may end up being an heirloom toy that gets passed down through generations.

This product is a PDF pattern for sewing your very own handmade fox or wolf. There are four different options included. You can make a fox with an embroidered stomach or a fox with a white fabric stomach and a wolf with a white fabric stomach or one with an embroidered forehead.

This is to be printed off on US letter sized 8.5" x 11 inch paper from a desktop printer. The files will be available for download from a link in your purchase confirmation email. Although this pattern is formatted for US letter sized, it can also be printed out on A4. Both metric and imperial measurements are included in the pattern.

This pattern that can be completed as a beginner with basic skills in machine sewing and understanding of simple hand stitching skills. The printed tutorial includes detailed, clear written instructions paired with photos.

MATERIALS NEEDED TO COMPLETE ONE ANIMAL:
-1/3 (0.27 metres) yard or scraps of woven fabric such as cotton, linen, or flannel
-Scraps of white cotton or linen for fabric for ears, white on chest and tail tip
-Matching thread
-Embroidery thread
-Polyester filling for stuffed animals
-Cream or white crochet thread (if making the fox with embroidered front)
-Grey or color of choice crochet or embroidery thread (if making wolf with embroidered forehead)
-15 inches by 15 inches (38 cm by 38 cm) woven fabric for scarf

TOOLS:
-sewing machine (unless sewing by hand)
-scissors
-measuring tape
-washable fabric pen
-straight edge or ruler
-embroidery needle
-iron
-pins

SIZE:
The finished animal will measure approximately 12.5 inches tall, not including ears. The height may vary slightly depending on the fabric and stuffing used.

SEWING MACHINE OR HAND SEWN:
-The pattern is written expecting a sewing machine to be used and and very minimal hand stitching is needed. The face can be drawn on with a permanent fabric marker instead of embroidered. The small back opening for stuffing the animal will need to be handstitched closed.
-If you do not wish to use a sewing machine, this animal could also be hand sewn. Just trade out the sewing machine stitching to your favorite hand sewing stitch in the tutorial.
