There is something special about building a fabric collection slowly and intentionally—choosing the bases, developing the colors, and creating fabrics that feel just as beautiful in your hands as they look on the shelf.
Our newest Isee Fabric American-Milled Collection brings together four of our favorite everyday knit fabrics in a warm, earthy palette designed to mix, match, and live together.
The collection includes Waffle Knit, 2x1 Rib Knit, Organic Cotton Spandex French Terry, and Large Loop French Terry, all in six signature Isee Fabric colors:
Sequoia · Barley · Dahlia · Raisin · Sunbake · Tawny
These aren't trend colors meant for one season. They're the kind of grounded, nature-inspired shades we come back to again and again.
Meet the Colors
Sequoia is a deep, earthy shade with the richness of forest bark and autumn woods. It's beautiful on its own and especially striking paired with Barley or Tawny.
Barley is our soft neutral—a warm, natural shade that works with virtually everything in the collection. Think undyed fibers, dried grasses, and well-loved linen.
Dahlia brings a dusty floral warmth to the palette. It's muted rather than sweet, making it beautiful for both children's and adult garments.
Raisin is deep, moody, and beautifully earthy. It gives the collection contrast without feeling harsh and makes an incredible sweatshirt, pant, or layering piece.
Sunbake has that sun-warmed, clay-like quality we love. It's earthy, relaxed, and particularly beautiful when sewn into textured knits.
Tawny rounds everything out with a warm, natural brown inspired by leather, earth, and dried autumn grasses.
Four Bases. So Many Possibilities.
The beauty of creating these fabrics together is that you can use different textures while keeping your colors coordinated.
Our Waffle Knit has that beautiful dimensional texture that makes simple garments feel special. At approximately 10 oz, it's substantial enough to feel cozy while remaining incredibly wearable. Think thermals, pullovers, lounge sets, baby clothes, tops, and layering pieces.
The 2x1 Rib Knit is the workhorse of the collection. Use it for fitted tops, leggings, cuffs, neckbands, waistbands, children's basics—or pair it with one of the French terries for a beautifully finished sweatshirt or jogger.
Our Organic Cotton Spandex French Terry is an approximately 11 oz stretch French terry with the comfort and flexibility we want in everyday clothing. It's an easy choice for sweatshirts, joggers, barrel pants, children's clothing, dresses, and comfortable basics.
And then there's our Large Loop French Terry. Those beautiful loops on the reverse give this fabric a classic sweatshirt feel and wonderful texture. It's perfect for oversized sweatshirts, pullovers, pants, shorts, jackets, and pieces you want to reach for every day.
Made to Work Together
One of our favorite parts of this collection is being able to build an entire garment from coordinating American-milled fabrics.
Make a Sunbake French terry sweatshirt with matching Sunbake 2x1 rib cuffs. Pair a Raisin waffle top with Barley pants. Sew a tonal Dahlia lounge set, or mix Sequoia and Tawny for a deeper autumn palette.
Because the bases and colors were selected as a collection, you don't have to hunt for that elusive ribbing or coordinating knit after you've fallen in love with your main fabric.
That's exactly how we want fabric shopping to feel.
American Milled. Made for Makers.
Supporting American textile manufacturing has become an important part of what we do at Isee Fabric. These fabrics are milled, dyed, and finished in the USA, allowing us to offer something increasingly difficult to find: thoughtfully made knit fabrics produced here at home.
And because these are natural-fiber fabrics that are laundered and finished for softness, you may see some of the beautiful characteristics that come with the process—subtle texture, variation, and the relaxed hand that makes these fabrics feel so good.
These aren't precious fabrics meant to sit in a stash.
They're meant to become the sweatshirt your child refuses to take off. The waffle top you reach for every Saturday morning. The perfectly worn-in joggers. The handmade pieces that get washed, worn, loved, and eventually passed down.
Six colors. Four bases. Made in the USA.
We can't wait to see what you make.
